A   Historic Southern Luxury Venue

Welcome to The white homE

Every single part of the day was beautiful, smooth, and full of joy—and that’s 100% thanks to the amazing venue and Matt Starnes, our wedding planner.

We got married at The White Home in Rock Hill, and I honestly don’t even know how to put into words how incredible the experience was.

My husband and I got married at The White Home on June 8, 2024, and it was the BEST decision we could have ever made! Working with Matt & the Hospitality Butler team was amazing, they really helped ensure my day panned out exactly as we had dreamed it would. The home is stunning, the grounds are breathtaking, and it being located in our hometown was just the icing on the cake.

The White Home will forever hold a special place in our heart.

The White Home story begins with George Pendleton White and Ann Hutchison. George, a tailor and farmer, helped route a railroad that contributed to Rock Hill’s founding before his death in 1849 left Ann to raise their four children. Through hardship, she expanded the home and, after returning from New York in 1867, added Victorian details that earned it the nickname “Gingerbread Palace.” Preserved by later generations and restored in 2005, the White Home remains a symbol of the town's history.
